Who We Are

Welcome to Our Savior's Lutheran Church!  In our community,

we are often known as the church with the bell tower.  We are,

of course, thankful for our beautiful building, but Our Savior's is

so much more than a building.

We are a people who have gathered together in the name of

Jesus to celebrate God's love.

We are a small town congregation with a world wide mission.

We are a 140-year-old congregation with a contemporary feel.

We are a friendly, welcoming church that sends our members back out into the world as missionaries, ambassadors of Christ, to share the good news of Jesus Christ in all that they do.

Just as a church is more than a building, faith is far more than we know or believe.  It is the way we live out our relationship with God in our everyday lives.  Being a disciple means growing in our relationship with God and God's people.  Generous stewardship is one of seven faith practices that are being encouraged.  As people of faith, we are encouraged to:

         1.  Pray frequently

         2.  Study scripture diligently

         3.  Worship regularly

         4.  Invite others often

         5.  Pass on the faith

         6.  Serve for the sake of others

         7.  Give freely
