Missions The Mission Programs at Our Savior’s are coordinated by Christian Action Committee. Our goal is to develop programs not only locally, but nationally and abroad as well. In this service to others for the Glory of God, we share our Christian Faith.
We have also organized two international mission trips so far; one to Slovakia and the other to Guatemala. In addition to the annual national or international trip, we organize several state wide mission trips within Wisconsin to churches and homes in need of repair or remodeling, including All People’s church in Milwaukee and Church of the Wilderness in Bowler, as well as several Habitat for Humanity Builds. Who Can Participate Our trips are open to anyone 14 and over. You do not need to be a church member or a Lutheran to participate. Also, there are tasks for everyone of any ability, so don’t let your age be an issue either. No building experience is necessary. Youth 16-18 can attend with a parent’s signed permission, and youth 14-16 can attend if a parent or guardian accompanies them. Cost

With the high costs of gas and supplies, funding a mission trip is getting harder and harder. We want everyone to be able to participate, no matter the income level – so we try to keep the costs to you as low as possible. Each trip is different, but we usually charge a minimum required fee of between $150 to $250 for the national trips. We also offer scholarships for those who need assistance.
